I started making my own Jewelry when I wasn't satisfied with what I found at various retail establishments.  The items I purchased were usually plastic, broke easily and were never just the "right" color for whatever outfit or event I happened to buy it for.  Also, just like with my shoe obsession, I like to have a lot of variety and I'm not willing to spend a fortune to have multiple options.
          Once I started, I couldn't stop!  After wearing some of my creations in public, I started getting a lot of positive comments about my accessories and was encouraged to try and sell it to the public.  Thus...Hoolie Designs was born.
          While my real job is managing shopping centers by day, I found making jewelery to be a huge stress reliever and a creative outlet that I hadn't ever utilized.

            I was born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  I reside in Troutdale, Oregon near the famous Columbia River Gorge.  My husband Tod and I have two "children"...Cargo - a Beagle/Jack Russell mix and our little Panda - a pure bred Parson Jack Russell Terrier who comes from a long line of show dogs and working dogs, along with Tod's grown daughter, Brandi.
            The name "Hoolie" is derived from my childhood nickname to which my brothers so lovingly referred.
